The MATLAB version of MotorXP requires MATLAB to run. The MATLAB version has extended capabilities with the use of the MATLAB-based scripting:
- User defined electrical circuits connected to stator winding
- User defined simulation scripts to extend the capabilities of FEA simulations (custom control algorithms, PWM strategies, etc.)
- Parametric analysis and optimization API with parallel processing for automatization of the design process
The Standalone version of MotorXP is an independent application. MATLAB is not required to run the Standalone version of MotorXP.
MotorXP Combo license includes both Standalone and MATLAB versions of MotorXP.
MotorXP-AFM (Full) means your license will include all four analysis types (Magnetostatic Finite Element Analysis, Dynamic Finite Element Analysis, Steady State D-Q Analysis and Dynamic D-Q Analysis).
MotorXP-AFM (FEA only) means your license will include only finite element analysis types (Magnetostatic Finite Element Analysis and Dynamic Finite Element Analysis) and will not include D-Q analysis types (Steady State D-Q Analysis and Dynamic D-Q Analysis).
